Job Summary

Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a

Radiological Controls Engineer to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location.

The successful candidate will provide radiological engineering support and oversight for the day-to-day activities, regarding Radiation Control Manual, and associated WIPP Radiological Control procedures. Responsible for assisting with the implementation and continuing improvement of the WIPP radiological control program. Provides technical health physics support to the Radiation Protection Program in assigned areas as a subject matter expert.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, or

  • Associate’s Degree with four (4) years of related experience.

  • Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Health Physicist (CHP) Certification is a plus.

  • Two (2) Years of job-related experience is preferred.
