AECOM Senior Scheduler V - Canandaigua, NY in Canandaigua, New York

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler for employment in Canandaigua, NY.

  • The Scheduler shall provide a Quality Assurance Plan as a part of their proposal, to include a narrative describing how the Scheduler will accomplish the various requirements in this SOW, sample reports, typical schedule of manpower and activities required to monitor compliance the contract requirements, etc. At the completion of this contract, the Scheduler shall deliver to the COR a summary of items completed as part of this SOW, and all final work products developed as part of this SOW.

  • Perform as-built schedule analysis for contractor requests for equitable adjustment and claims to determine impact on construction schedule. Make appropriate recommendations with supporting documentation to the ACO and COR.

  • Review for contract compliance and provide recommendations to the COR comment on the contractor-developed preliminary and initial schedule, as well as the monthly schedule updates with respect to the contract requirements. Review the contractor’s methodology for overall coordination of construction planning, scheduling and phasing. Provide judgement with respect to the effectiveness of the schedule to logically plan the work, clearly identifying activity sequence and contract milestones and predicted completion dates.

  • Assess the reasonableness of the proposed schedule durations, cost loading, activity coding and work breakdown structure. Report findings to the ACO and COR.

  • Participate in all monthly schedule review meetings with the ACO and contractor to review/analyze progress, either in person or by webinar.

  • Schedule, filter, sort, and produce and analyze project schedule reports utilizing the latest version of Primavera and provide copies of reports to the ACO and COR.

  • Establish and maintain a structured/centralized electronic database for organizing and storing all contractor project schedules.

  • Perform schedule impact analysis for modifications and produce schedule impact analysis for modifications and produce schedule fragnets for inclusion in change order documentation. Make appropriate recommendations with supporting documentation to the ACO and COR.

  • Perform analysis on current and future workload in the latest version of Primavera P6 and provide manpower resourcing reports. Make appropriate recommendations with supporting documentation to the Chief of Construction Division, Area Engineers, and COR.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 8+ years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, RMS, and Primavera.

  • Extensive knowledge on utilizing RMS for reviewing control documents for time impact

  • analysis.

  • Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check; many projects/clients are security sensitive.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

  • Physically able, with or without an accommodation, to work in indoor, and outdoor environments with uneven terrain and variable outdoor conditions. Position requires frequent standing/walking, keyboard/mouse operations, repetitive fine hand movements, and sitting for long periods of time; often operating vehicles; occasionally working with arms above shoulder level, performing repetitive bending and stooping, climbing stairs, and working in an environment of heavy, moving, dangerous equipment; rarely power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), performing work at heights, using portable ladders, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, and lifting less than 25 pounds. Position will include wearing associated personal protective equipment (i.e., gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield).
