AECOM is currently seeking a Consultancy Senior Project Manager to be based in Cambridge. You will be responsible for delivering projects relating to Universities, Commercial, Residential and Healthcare building projects.

We are an established consultancy office in Cambridge you will work directly with a medium sized team and coordinate with a much larger worldwide network of experts to bring projects to close within time and budget.

Our Building & Places division provides a multidisciplinary offering consisting of a variety of consultancy services ranging from Project Management, Civil, Structural, MEP and Environmental Engineering, Cost Management and Quantity Surveying.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the below duties:
Lead with support Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery
Provide oversight / strategic guidance /audit & review, to a portfolio of projects being lead within the cost centre
To provide effective support to PMs and APMs
Ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
Strong relationships are developed with clients and members of the cross-functional team
Ensure all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training
Business development through superior delivery and by identifying opportunities with existing and new clients.
You will be able to identify cross- selling opportunities and acted upon them
Be a primary interface with AECOM clients (New and Existing)
Provide leadership within project management business and provide leadership and mentoring to the team
Management of tender documents, appraisals and negotiations
Manage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed time-scales and quality standards
Co-ordination and sign off on all management information produced by project management teams prior to issue
Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
Extensive higher education, student accommodation, school, science, leisure, health, defence, infrastructure and water experience
Experienced in a Client management role – Able to manage the account in terms of projects
- Professional Qualified – ideally Project Management/Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Degree.
