AECOM Civil Design Tech in Burnaby, British Columbia

Job Summary

The Roads and Traffic Team in the AECOM Burnaby office of AECOM is seeking a Civil Technologist with an interest in pursuing a career in site layout and roadway design. The appropriately qualified candidate will be working on an interesting range of projects, from concepts to completion, with an established Civil engineering team. Your resourcefulness and ability to work collaboratively will be an asset to our team.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Interpretation of design information provided by the project team

  • Production of concept; detailed and record engineering drawings for site layout and roadway projects

  • Working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other technical software

  • Delivery of project documents in a timely and effective manner

  • Material take offs and drafting related calculations

  • Utilizing Quality Management systems

  • Preparation of 3D visualization presentation graphics

  • Participation in design meetings

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience
