Position Title Geotechnical Engineer I

Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur

Bukit Damansara / Southgate

Job Summary

  • Undertake designs and analyses including interpretation of subsurface investigations, geotechnical testing results, and designs of slope works, retaining structures and foundations

  • Prepare and compile design calculations, technical reports, drawings and other deliverables with a high standard

  • Responsible for ground investigation works and carry out supervision as required

  • Assist senior team members in all stages of projects

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in the design of underground structures and foundations, high-rise building or bridge foundations, ground improvement and slope stabilisation works

  • Preferably familiar with numerical analysis of soil-structure interaction

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written English)

  • Ability to work well with others as a team

  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines

  • Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A recognised Degree in Civil Engineering

  • Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering will be an advantage
