Position Title Mechanical Engineer III (Water Urban Development/ Infrastructure)

Job Summary

  • Part of the Mechanical Team for the design of WUD projects which includes reporting

  • Prepare submission, tender, costing or other necessary documentation with regards to the design

  • Provide comprehensive design and project management services to the clients

  • Design team leader and carry out design activities that are cost-effective and comply with clients’ specifications and statutory regulations

  • Co-ordinate with internal parties to resolve interface issues and technical clarifications

  • Project management and contract administration for Water Urban Development projects

  • Responsible for financial management of the project and ensuring key deadlines are met

  • Oversee project development to implement

  • Play a key role in client management and client satisfaction

  • Attend project meetings;

  • Manage multiple projects;

  • Liaise/co-ordinate with other disciplines/departments in preparation of design packages for multi-disciplinary projects.

  • Adhere and Implement AECOM’s Quality Assurance requirements, procedures and policies to daily work scope.

  • Adhere and Implement AECOM’s Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) requirements, procudures and policies daily work scope.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of mechanical/electrical design experience, preferable experience water treatment experience.

  • Registered Chartered Engineer with Board of Engineer

  • Knowledge of prevailing local codes, statutory requirements and international codes

  • In depth technical knowledge of discipline

  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills;

  • Excellent technical and project management skills;

  • Team player with good project management knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering
