Position Title Principal Infrastructure Engineer

Our Bristol office has a requirement for a Senior/Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join a team that delivers creative solutions for civil engineering infrastructure projects for industry, government and commercial sectors. As a Senior/Principal Engineer you will undertake the design and project management on various civil infrastructure related projects and assist in developing the Company’s business.
The Senior/Principal Infrastructure Engineer will effectively deliver technical aspects of projects or parts thereof for which you are responsible. Sourcing opportunities and preparing fee proposals for submission to client, including resources and programme. Work with a team of engineers and technicians designing building infrastructure schemes. Undertaking civil and infrastructure projects, performing analyses and calculations as appropriate. Supervising work, ensuring that it is carried out to the appropriate technical standard and that it is managed to programme and budget
Key to this role is the ability to provide a client focused service which results in on-going satisfaction and repeat business.
A graduate in Civil Engineering or equivalent with experience of Civil Engineering in directly relevant fields. Ability to deliver design solutions, assessment calculations, lead teams and successfully manage projects. A solid track record of having worked on a variety of infrastructure projects, possibly as project leader on some, with experience of dealing directly with clients. A highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and ideally a Chartered Engineer. Knowledge and experience of the local South Wales Marketplace
Chartered or working towards chartered status via MICE advantageous
Local Knowledge of the South West marketplace would be advantageous.
