AECOM Project Manager, MEPFP - AECOM Tishman (Groton, CT) in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Summary

From mega developments to super tall structures to luxury residential destinations, our teams of experts work in partnership with owners, design teams and community stakeholders on every project aspect – from preconstruction to turnover – to collaboratively develop and implement optimal plans for flawless execution.

Responsibilities include but not limited too:

  • Manage the construction of commercial and mixed use through all MEP phases of construction from pre-construction through final close-out.

  • Manage and direct the MEP project team and ensure project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specifications.

  • Review purchase orders, change orders, sub-contracts.

  • Develop design and procurement schedules for approval.

  • Resolves MEP field initiated questions.

  • Coordinates activities among the design groups.

  • Prepares or directs the preparation of project studies, reports, etc.

  • Act as the Face of the Company to the client.

  • Manage risk, mitigate discrepancies and cost overruns, manage scope for MEP

Minimum Requirements

  • BS Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or other relevant technical degree

  • 5-10 years of related construction experience to include vertical construction projects, commercial and mixed use. Hotels, hi-rise residential, stadiums, casinos, interior fit outs, data centers

  • Experience in MEP phases of the project, to include pre-construction on at least one sizeable project

  • BA/BS + four years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a larger GC in the vertical construction market
