AECOM Asbestos Inspector / Industrial Hygienist in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Summary

AECOM is hiring now for an Asbestos Inspector / Industrial Hygiene position. This position is in Boston, MA but in this role the individual will be responsible for conducting pre-demolition building surveys and overseeing asbestos abatement activities for various projects throughout New England.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Technical field skills including sampling and report writing

  • Working knowledge of federal and state asbestos and lead regulations

  • Asbestos inspections

  • Field work requires a valid driver's license, ability to walk amongst debris, stamina to walk long distances as well as in inclement weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferably have and maintain asbestos inspector and project monitor licensures.

  • Other preferred skills and experience include performing building material surveys for PCBs as well as indoor air quality assessments.
