Job Summary

The Bid Studio in Birmingham seeks a graphic designer to assist with the development and preparation of responses for AECOM’s major bids in the UK&I. This person will know how to develop and create compelling graphics using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and InDesign. This person will work with a team or graphic designers and writers in support of end markets across the UK&I to support visual communications.

As a Graphic Designer you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Working on work winning documentation, packaging, conceptual design, presentations

  • Close collaboration with copywriters, work winners and end market managers throughout the bidding process

  • Supporting work winning through cutting edge design and creative support

  • Stay up-to-date on current design trends in packaging for work winning and branding

  • Ensure work meets AECOM design brand guidelines

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience in graphic design

  • Fluent in Adobe Suite to include InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office to include Word and PowerPoint

  • You should be excited about technology and enjoy exploring what’s new to the market

  • The ability to work under pressure and be flexible with your working hours

  • Ensure work meets AECOM design brand guidelines

  • Experience dealing with printers and creating print-ready artwork

  • Experience of producing multi-page documents brochures and reports

  • Creative awareness, underpinned by a thoughtful, logical approach

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject.
