Job Summary

The Water Division of AECOM is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator/ Inspector to assist with Civil/ Municipal Development and Road Reconstruction Projects in the Barrie, ON office location.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Construction Contract Administration

  • Inspections

  • Work with Project Designers

  • Assist to Manage Projects and Client Liaison

The appropriately qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate background knowledge in Contract Administration and Inspection Services with good communication skills and an understanding of the construction industry in road reconstruction.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma

  • 10+ years of experience in Management/Overseeing of projects

  • Knowledge of Contract Documents, Contracts, Warranty Periods and Progress Payment Certificate requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good background varied Construction Field Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15 + years of experience in municipal and linear infrastructure projects with solid road reconstruction background

  • Private land development construction and design experience is an asset
