Job Summary

The AECOM Baltimore, Maryland, office has an exciting opportunity for a Trackwork Designer to join our team in the Transportation Business Line. Responsibilities under this position may include:

  • Perform track geometry calculations

  • Develop details of track structure elements

  • Develop construction sequence

  • Determine quantities

  • Review shop drawings

  • Participate in field investigations of track elements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associates Degree in related field

  • 7 years of experience in the design of track for Metro, Light Rail, Commuter and/or Freight

  • 5 years of experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD engineering design software

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
