Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Afghanistan on the

EAGLE contract for a

TPE QA/QC-RH . The QA maintains the overall quality system and operations, reporting, and record-keeping. Serves as the QC Auditor for sections within TPE.

Ensures program and functional area management awareness of quality-related problems, system failures, root causes, and corrective actions implementation and effectiveness for identified deficiencies.Coordinates deficiency corrections and process improvements identification with area supervisors and managers.Serves as the quality liaison to Government quality representatives to ensure that the program's quality system complements and complies with Government, regulatory, and corporate requirements.Coordinates scheduled/unscheduled audits and inspections and supports functionally embedded QC auditors (Section Managers) and inspectors (functional Supervisors). Routinely evaluates business process management system capability and suggests preventive measures to reduce problem recurrence.Prepares reports and documents all quality activities and results. Discloses program deficiencies, ensures improvements are effective, and instructs functional areas in the application of quality standards and requirements, and updates processes as required.Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, andWork Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality Management System.Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures.Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Secret / Tier 3

  • Driver’s license may be required.

  • GCSS-Army Certification required for US Citizens

  • Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) BCSP Certification required (within 30 days of appointment)

  • Six Sigma Green/Black Belt/Lean certification/training is preferred

  • ISO-related training/experience is preferredEducation:

  • Must possess extensive experience with supervision, inspection and evaluation of quality control processes and programs.

  • Must possess in-depth expert thorough knowledge of current industry best practices including ISO standards and processes.

  • Must possess in-depth expert knowledge of U.S. Army logistics and supply program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to supply/property book accountability and supply areas of logistics operations.

  • Must have organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.

  • Must be highly familiar with automated systems, processes and methodologies pertaining to property accountability.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and around tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, SharePoint), and other software

  • GCSS-A

  • Logistics information Warehouse (LIW)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
