Position Title Maintenance Operations Specialist

AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Afghanistan on the EAGLE contract for Maintenance Operations Specialist . Coordinates and assists management in office services, such as personnel, basic book-keeping work, and budget preparation. Ensure that program documents are complete, current and stored appropriately. Prepares reports, memos, letters, financial data and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software. Performs general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work. Attend unclassified meetings in order to record minutes. Compiles, transcribes, and distributes minutes of meetings. Responsible for validating, scanning, and processing GSS employee timesheets on a bi-weekly basis to BAF. Supports the quality control program office with monitoring and reporting on compliance with POPs SOPs, program objectives and work instructions. Assists management in the implementation of companywide related programs and initiatives. Refines and, where necessary, develops new metrics and reporting systems to track effectiveness of all AC FIRST program support initiatives for the Maintenance department. Collects, compiles and analyzes data to prepare a various statistical reports. Manages collection of data for AC FIRST daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting. Works closely with other leaders in a team environment to develop, coordinate, managing and communicating activities for the company. Updates monthly Maintenance phone list. Manages storage facility boxes and orders supplies. Responds to inquiries about policies and procedures from other staff members. Update of daily military Personnel Status Report (PRSTAT). Completes and updates badging documentation as required. Assembles spreadsheets and converts them to graphic format to illustrate financial data. Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
NACI / Tier 1 for US Citizens.
Valid Driver’s license may be required.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Three years of progressively more responsible human resources or similar experience, with an emphasis in implementing companywide programs.
Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience. Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college and vice versa.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be able to conduct oneself in a professional/courteous manner.
Must have the English language speaking ability to speak the language with sufficient structural accuracy and vocabulary to participate effectively in most formal and informal conversations on practical, social, and professional topics.
Must be able to read standard newspaper items addressed to the general reader, routine correspondence, reports, and technical materials in the individual's special field.
- Former Military experience preferred.
