Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Afghanistan on the EAGLE contract for an

ERPS Clerks Lead. Performs customer service for all GCSS-A related activities in accordance with the GCSS-A End User Manual (EUM). Performs and edits according to internal quality control checks during the input of data from source documents. When assigned a team; generates work flow, standard and GCSS-A reports as per PWS schedules and USG requirements. Performs duties as the Shop Stock/The Army Maintenance Management System clerk. Generates GCSS-A reports as required. Responsible for maintaining notifications and work orders IAW GCSS-A EUM. Responsible for maintaining records of services performed IAW GCSS-A EUM. Responsible for maintaining records of ordering and managing repair parts IAW GCSS-A EUM. Responsible for maintaining records of dispatching vehicles and equipment IAW GCSS-A EUM. Maintains the shop stock and turn-ins of unserviceable repair parts IAW GCSS-A EUM. Responsible for issuing material to work orders IAW GCSS-A EUM. Responsible for returning any recoverable/reparable material to stock IAW GCSS-A EUM. Responsible for entering time confirmations for a work order IAW GCSS-A EUM. Responsible for performing the work order completion process IAW GCSS-A EUM. Responsible for updating the operational status for a piece of equipment IAW GCSS-A EUM. Processes data entry and transmits data to appropriate site. Assists Supervisor in quality control edits by retrieving reports for the data collectors. Organizes all completed source documents and attachments to filing site and/or OneSource uploading requirements. Follows up on all weekly transaction reports, weekly form counts and prepares forms to be digitally sent. Must perform edits based on FEDLOG codes and classes of supply as required. Readiness activities include documentation, records management, reporting and record reconciliation. Required to gain access to GCSS-A, IGC, FedMall, LIW and WEBVLIPs for parts and document research. Provides logistical support to other operational and support elements as required. Provides analysis, technical assistance, by researching repair part availability and expedition as required. Provide training to other GCSS-A positions, as needed. Generates picking tickets, DA Form 3161 or other accountability documentation. Conducts and participates in scheduled, unscheduled inventories and surveys. Reviews and validates document register reconciliations and submits daily supply activities. Coordinates with supporting SSAs for requisitioning and turn in action. Ensures strict compliance of safety practices and fully support current and future AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries. Edits all supply transactions and posts into GCSS-Army, IAW EUM. Duties may include turning-in repair parts IAW SOP/W I’s, entering data in GCSS-Army; tag and turn-in processing of parts. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality Management System. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • NACI / Tier 1 for US Citizens.

  • Must possess a GCSS-Army Equipment Records Parts Specialist Certification.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must possess a GCSS-Army Equipment Records Parts Specialist Certification.

  • Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience. Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college and vice versa.

  • 3-4 years GCSS-Army Equipment Records Parts Specialist experience required.

  • Must have strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Must be able to multi-task and effectively research issues.

  • Must be able to pass GCSS-A specific Skill PQS within 30 days of hire and as required throughout period of employment.

  • Must have good knowledge in the use of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint with a working knowledge of Adobe and Internet Explorer with position related applications.

  • Knowledgeable in Field and Sustainment maintenance processes.

  • Knowledgeable of all system reports and knows how to correct discrepancies.

  • Attention to detail in work flow and all filing organization activities.

  • Must be able to be licensed on 4-10K forklifts, Military and Civilian 2.5T and below vehicles within 3 months of hire.

  • Must be able to function with an advanced level of English oral and written language skills, through demonstrated proficiency, testing or both.

  • Must possess a GCSS-Army Equipment Records Parts Specialist Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • US Army MOS 92A preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
