AECOM Strategic Communications and Public Involvement Project Manager in Austin, Texas

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced communications/public involvement professional who is equipped to manage communications projects independently and contribute to the overall internal and external business development function of our growing Central Region Transportation Strategic Communications/Public Involvement Group. Expereince with traditional public outreach is required, and experience with public relations, media, marketing, and/or advertising is ideal. Our preferred candidate would be interested in exploring non-traditional A&E communications opportunities with new and existing transportation clients. This includes teaming and approach strategy for these opportunities. Internal relationship building is a key function of this role, particularly in the Texas market. Some travel is required.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Communication

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Experience with SmartSheet, Basecamp, Tableau and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Previous experience implementing marketing strategies

  • Previous experience running marketing campaigns
