AECOM Marketing/Proposal Specialist in Austin, Texas

AECOM is actively seeking an experienced Marketing/Proposal Specialist for immediate employment in our Orlando, FL or Austin, TX offices. This individual will play an integral role in supporting our strategic business development goals throughout the Southeastern and South Central United States, and will be connected to AECOM’s Water Business Line Marketing network across North America.
Core responsibilities for this role include proposal coordination, content management, and visual storytelling in support of winning new business. This includes the development of presentations and printed qualification materials in response to formal and informal client solicitations. Our ideal candidate is familiar with the A/E/C industry, and has some knowledge of key organizations and activities that enrich and promote our professional practice.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Reports to the Regional Water Business Line Marketing leader. Collaborates with capture managers and business development leaders, as well as marketing peers – proposal managers, coordinators, and graphic designers – to support and produce winning client proposals and presentations.
Interacts with all levels of technical and support staff. Comfortable in working with senior leadership and executives
Participates in the maintenance of marketing information, such as project sheets, resumes and credentials, and CRM/Salesforce proposal and project data.
Undertakes special projects, such as award submittals, trade show coordination, brochures and other collateral as assigned.
Works under the general supervision of the regional Marketing director and in collaboration with the regional chief executive and key business development and strategic leaders.
Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
2 + years related A/E/C industry marketing experience
Strong writing skills – experience with effective and personable verbal and written communication
Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail
Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Adobe CC software
Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with Excel
4+ years related A/E/C industry marketing experience
Experience in developing proposals, statements of qualifications, and other client-facing documents
Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast paced environment
Familiarity with Government/Public client submittal processes and SF330/standard forms
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM database software is desirable
