Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking an HR System Administrator to join our team located in

Austin, Texas or Germantown, MD . Under minimal direction, formulate and define Human Resources systems scope and objectives through user needs and an understanding of business systems and industry requirements. This individual will report directly to the HR & Planning Applications/Business Systems Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrated ability in business writing and communication with ability to create process flow documents. Prepare reports, schedules, data requirements, security access rules and system constraints including functional design documents.

  • Transform data from spreadsheets and other systems to EV5 Import Format

  • Perform imports of employee data and master data into HRMS

  • Payroll and/or human resources processing experience - ADP Enterprise environment helpful

  • Train to become Security Master for ADP applications including Enterprise, Portal, and ADP GL

  • Knowledge of data mapping techniques including translating between operating systems

  • Configure master data in HRMS – understand and work with functional team to set up accumulators, earnings codes, deductions, user defined codes, memo codes, mappable fields, translate tables

  • Ability to correlate changes in the business to changes in required processes

  • Able to identify opportunities for improvements to systems, processes, and efficiencies

  • Report writing skills preferably with ADP Reporting or Cognos

  • Analyze HR system related issues and assist in resolution.

  • Tracks system issues to final resolution. Recommend resolution. Verify readiness for production

  • Create presentations and demonstrations to help train functional teams

  • Assist product managers with analysis of complex designs

  • May provide administrative support to project management staff in customer meetings, presentations and briefings.

  • Maintain and establishes a filing system for correspondence, project status report, and other technical documentation for tracking system projects and security changes.

  • Comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures.

  • Provide support in the development of technical proposal and provide input on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.

  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Accounting, or related field, and at least three to five years of job-related work experience or equivalent.

  • Minimum three years' experience in HRIS or information systems field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, experience and/or abilities.

  • Database query skills are essential.

  • Good written and oral communication skills and familiarity with word processing, database, spreadsheet programs and integrated software applications are required.

  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
