Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Night Electrical Superintendent to support the following:

  • Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects.

  • Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.

  • May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.

  • Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.

  • Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.

Onsite Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Consultant Construction Night Electrical Superintendent

Scope of Work

The Consultant Construction Night Electrical Superintendent will be directly responsible for monitoring and refining the long

range and short term plans to ensure success on the project. The Construction Night Electrical Superintendent

will direct and coordinate the night-to-night activities in the field, manage and coordinate the flow of

information, control costs, manage and control the schedule, implement and monitor the safety

programs, and verify that the completed work is constructed to a quality level consistent with the

requirements of the construction documents.

The Consultant Construction Night Electrical Superintendent works directly for the DCD PM supporting the strategic and

tactical delivery of the data center project(s).

The Consultant Construction Night Electrical Superintendent role can be summarized to include:

  • Monitor and refine Company personnel and resources for the project (s)

  • Assist with preconstruction efforts

  • Manage all aspects of project from inception

  • Prepare and execute Project Executive Planning for all internal MSFT teams

  • Review trade contracts and bid packages, as well as oversee procurement process

  • Oversee performance of project including, project status, schedule, cost control, change

  • management systems,

  • Maintain relationships with internal MS Partners, designers and consultants and the GC

  • team

  • Attend and lead project OAC meetings, including progress, pre-construction and pre-award

  • Review inspection and test data for compliance with specifications and MSFT standards

  • Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with GC and Consultant team

  • Set-up QAQC procedures and conduct quality inspections

  • Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring

others and enforce IFE program on projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 4 YORE or

  • AA/AS (US) + 6 YORE or

  • Diploma/Certificate (Canada) + 6 YORE or

  • HS/GED + 8 YORE
