Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Data Center Construction - Lead Night Superintendent to support the following:

  • Supervises the monitoring and evaluation process to ensure that AECOM quality management systems are being followed and evidence is recorded and maintained.

  • Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.

  • Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.

  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.

  • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.

  • May have budget responsibilities.

  • Manages the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results.

  • In some instances, may be responsible for functional area and may not have direct reports.

Onsite Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Data Center Construction - Lead Night Superintendent

Scope of Work

The Consultant Construction Lead Night Superintendent will be directly responsible for monitoring and refining the long

range and short term plans to ensure success on the project. The Construction Lead Night Superintendent

will direct and coordinate the night-to-night activities in the field, manage and coordinate the flow of

information, control costs, manage and control the schedule, implement and monitor the safety

programs, and verify that the completed work is constructed to a quality level consistent with the

requirements of the construction documents.

The Consultant Construction Lead Night Superintendent works directly for the DCD PM supporting the strategic and

tactical delivery of the data center project(s).

The Consultant Construction Lead Night Superintendent role can be summarized to include:

  • Monitor and refine Company personnel and resources for the project (s)

  • Assist with preconstruction efforts

  • Manage all aspects of project from inception

  • Prepare and execute Project Executive Planning for all internal MSFT teams

  • Review trade contracts and bid packages, as well as oversee procurement process

  • Oversee performance of project including, project status, schedule, cost control, change

  • management systems,

  • Maintain relationships with internal MS Partners, designers and consultants and the GC

  • team

  • Attend and lead project OAC meetings, including progress, pre-construction and pre-award

  • Review inspection and test data for compliance with specifications and MSFT standards

  • Develop and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with GC and Consultant team

  • Set-up QAQC procedures and conduct quality inspections

  • Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring

others and enforce IFE program on projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 6 YORE or

  • AA/AS (US) + 8 YORE or

  • Diploma/Certificate (Canada) + 8 YORE or

  • HS/GED + 10 YORE
