AECOM Call Center Support/Project Specialist in Arlington - VA, Virginia

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Call Center Support/Project Specialist for employment in our Arlington VA office. In this role, you will provide call center support for the Headquarters Marine Corps Camp Lejeune Historic Drinking Water Program (CLHDW). This is a full-time position located in Arlington VA (Crystal City) and as needed, will require travel to the Pentagon.

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills within a customer support role.

  • Attention to detail, with the ability to draft accurate written materials.

  • Working knowledge and/or experience with the U.S. Marine Corps or DoD.

  • Conduct Participant intake registration and document updates as needed.

  • Provide information and resource referral management for assistance with claims processing.

  • Respond to inquiries through monitored database, telephone, and email platforms.

  • Record all communication and updates daily into Call Log Database, to include detailed action items.

  • Evaluate data quality and consistency, applications, and functions.

  • Assist with the production of Call Center metrics (e.g., number of call and emails, database updates, contact purpose) to facilitate evaluation of Call Center efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Assume other duties as assigned that may be necessary for the orderly operation of the facility.

  • Monitor call center operations from 0830 to 1700 Eastern Time, Monday through Friday

  • As project needs arise, the candidate will also provide backup support to the On-Site Liaison and will require a favorable background investigation.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma

  • 2+ years of customer service related experience

  • Must be able to acquire a favorable background investigation (NACI) and maintain a common access card (CAC)

  • MS Office proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent team building and leadership skills, to serve as the Contractor liaison between the Call Center and Marine Corps personnel and assist in identifying and resolving issues as they arise.

  • Knowledge of and/or experience with the U.S. Marine Corps or DoD (veteran, retiree, or spouse).

  • Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills with external and internal clients.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple agencies to accomplish project goals.
