AECOM Group Services Team Leader in Adelaide, Australia

Job Summary

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Team Leader to work closely with our Area Manager and lead the support services team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operations of the office, whilst promoting a harmonious working culture through effective communications.

Day to day responsibilities can include;

  • Supervise, provide direction and mentor Administrative staff, ensuring the work load is suitable across the group

  • Assisting with office support activities including the design and implementation of improvised office procedures and coordinating training, events and office client activities

  • Providing support in delivering high quality deliverables by collating, editing, formatting and reviewing documents prior to submission

  • Working closely with HR to communicate updates and people movements, assisting with job interviews, organising rewards through our internal recognition program and coordinating training needs for the office

  • Coordinating financial reports and invoices.

Minimum Requirements

This is a varied and busy role which would suit someone who is pro-active and enjoys working within a collaborative environment.

You will have proven experience in an administration role, ideally in a professional services environment. Above all, you will have a friendly and outgoing personality and be someone that enjoys helping others.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar office administration leadership role

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and agility and flexibility to adapt to change

  • A systematic and well-organised work-style, including strong time and self-management skills

  • Ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels of the business

  • Experience in developing and/or implementing new procedures

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
